Welcome to the park!

To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:

Registrations and Arrival Check-In Procedure - Check-in time is 1:00 pm. - Check-out time is 12:00 noon. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the onsite manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Office Hours - Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. - Office hours are Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. - Office hours are Sunday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Quiet Hours - Quiet hours are 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. - No loud music at any time. Speed Limit - The speed limit is 5 mph and is strictly enforced. Driving In The Park - Motorcycle and bicycle riding are welcome, but please remain on the streets. - Golf carts are to be driven by a licensed driver only. - Side-by-side and 4-wheeler ATVs are not allowed to be ridden inside the park. - Repeat offenders for speeding will be asked to leave the park. Pets Policy - Pets are welcome at Shady Creek. - We allow two pets per RV. - Guests must clean up after their animals. - Failure to pick up the feces of your animal will result in a $50 fine per instance. - Any animals, including service or support animals, that are aggressive to any resident, visitor, staff, or another animal will result in the immediate permanent removal of the animal. - Any animal that is a nuisance to other residents or guests may be reported to management. - Guests will be given a maximum of one warning, either verbal or written. - No dogs are to be left unattended or tied up outside your RV. - Fencing for your pet is allowed as long as it is removed on mowing days. - Current vaccinations are required for all pets. - Pets must always be on a leash. - You must pick up after your pet. - You will be asked to leave the park if you fail to do so. - Dog stations are located throughout the park for your convenience. - While in the dog park, dogs may be off-leash but must be accompanied by the owner. Aggressive Breeds - The following breeds are not allowed at The Retreat. - Pitbull, Rottweiler, Chow, standard Doberman, or mixed breeds of these kinds are not allowed. - If you have questions about your breed, please reach out to management for approval. Laundry Facility Policy - The laundry facility is open 24/7 for your convenience. - Please remove your clothes from the machines as soon as the cycle has ended. - Laundry left unattended will be placed on the tables. - Please make sure you are not overloading the machines. - Please clean up any mess from the detergent spillage. - Be respectful of other guests using the facility. Shower and Restrooms Policy - Bathrooms are maintained regularly to keep them clean. - No cutting or coloring hair in the bathrooms. - No pets are allowed in the bathrooms. - Washing your pet in the showers is not allowed. Fitness Room Policy - The fitness room is for adult use only. - Children are allowed in the facility but must be accompanied by an adult. Pool Rules - Pool rules are posted and must be followed. - There is no lifeguard on duty. - No glass is allowed in the pool area. - No loud music is allowed in the pool area. - Pool hours are from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm. - Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Trash Policy - Please place all garbage in plastic bags in a trash container. - Do not keep bags of trash on your site. - Make sure all trash goes into the dumpsters. - No large items, such as mattresses or furniture,e are allowed outside the dumpster. Flags Policy - Up to three flags are permitted per site. - Flags of current nations, states, provinces, sports teams, military branches of service, and college affiliations are permitted. - No other flags are permitted, including political or Confederate flags, or any flag containing profanity. - Thank you for being respectful of your fellow campers. Illegal Drugs and Activities Policy - Illegal drugs or any form of illegal activity are prohibited on the property. - This includes smoking marijuana. - Persons caught in violation are subject to immediate eviction without a refund at the guest’s expense. - Persons aware of illegal activity are encouraged to notify management immediately. Weather and Freeze Warnings - During freezing temperatures, keep your freshwater tank full. - Make sure to drip your faucets and leave your gray tanks open. - If you do not have water, do not turn the handle at the water spigot, as it will break. - Please notify the office for assistance. - During inclement weather and storms, make sure to receive multiple warnings. - There is no storm shelter on site. Site Guidelines - All RVs must be parked on gravel only. - Do not back over the end of the lot. - Do not position your RV on the grass or sidewalk. - Guests are liable for any damage caused to the lawn, underground electric, plumbing, or sprinkler system. - No decks or outdoor sheds are permitted on sites. - Small storage bins are allowed only if approved by management. Parking at the Site - No parking is allowed on grass, roadways, or empty RV spaces. - In addition to your RV, two vehicles may be parked per site. - Boats and trailers, including cargo or flat trailers, are not allowed on your site. - Storage rental is available in the park. - For special requests, please reach out to the office for approval. Site Additions - All canopies, gazebos, or pergolas must be approved by management in writing before installation. - Approved site additions must remain on gravel or patio areas. - Pet fencing is allowed but must be removed on mowing days. Mow Days - Mow days are Thursdays every week. - All items must be removed from grass areas around your site on mow days. - A 24-hour notice will be given on special lawn treatment days. Site Cleanliness - All sites must be kept clutter-free. - Plants must be watered by hand only. - Do not allow items to accumulate under or around your RV. - All cigarette butts must be picked up. - Window units are not allowed. - Mats or rugs are not allowed on the grass. - Bicycles, ladders, outdoor toys, and coolers must be stored at the back of your RV at all times. - Clotheslines are prohibited. - Permanent mount satellite dishes are not allowed. - Tripod satellite mounts are acceptable if placed on your site. - All satellite dishes must be on gravel areas. RV Washing - Washing your RV on site is permitted. - High-powered washers may only be used after quiet hours have ended. Sewer and Utilities - Sewer hoses are required at each site. - Sewer hoses must be elevated. - Hoses must be sealed by a rubber donut or threaded connector. - Draining tanks without being connected to the sewer drain is not allowed. Fires Policy - Bonfires are not allowed. - Lawn fire pits are not allowed. - Elevated fire pits with mesh covers are allowed and must be at least 10 feet away from any RV. - Fire pits are not allowed on the grass. - Fireworks are prohibited in the park. Payments Policy - Monthly payments are due on the 1st of every month and will be automatically drafted (this includes the previous month’s electric bill). - Partial payments are not accepted. Late Payment Policy - An initial late fee of $35 will be added after the 4th of each month if payment has not been fulfilled. - This late fee will continue to accrue until full payment is received. Smoking Policy - The retreat is a non-smoking facility. - Please do not smoke in any buildings, as well as the pool or common areas. Packages/Mail Policy - Park management is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged mail or package deliveries. Liability - The Retreat is private property. - Management reserves the right to refuse entry or service to anyone. - Entry and stay on the property are at your own risk. - Management is not responsible for accidents or damages of any kind. - Rules, regulations, and fees may be changed at any time. Park Rules - The guest is required to obey the park rules.

Refunds be given in accordance with the Cancellation Policy below: Spot2Nite booking fees are non-refundable.

FLEXIBLE If the guest cancels at least 3 days before their check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 3 days before check-in, there will be no refund.
