Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Check-In and Check-Out Policy - Check-in time is 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. - Check-out time is 11:00 AM on the day of departure. - Guests staying in the primitive riverfront area must check in by 5:00 PM. - Late arrivals must stay in a different camping area. - All campers, guests, and visitors must first register and pay usage fees at the check-in station at the time of arrival. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Quiet Time - In consideration of all guests, mandatory quiet time is from 10 pm to 8 am. Pet Policy - We are a pet-friendly resort, but pets must be walked on a leash, cleaned up after, and may not disturb other guests. - Pets are the responsibility of the owner. - Management reserves the right to restrict aggressive and disruptive animals. - Upon check-in, please notify the team of your pets. - Please be sure to bring your pet's vaccination records. - All animals must be on a leash at all times outside of the RV. Visitor - All guests must pay usage fees and register at the check-in station and must be greeted by their party. - Visitor cars must be parked in the designated auxiliary parking areas with a car tag visible at all times. - Visitors can not bring in trailers, campers, or ATVs. - Visitors must obey all LSR rules and regulations. - Combined visitors and campers must not exceed the allowed number of campers on a site. - Visitors are not allowed on major holidays unless prior arrangements were made during the time of reservation. - Visitors of registered guests will be permitted on the premises between the hours of 12 pm-8 pm. Children Policy - Do not leave minor children unattended. - Do not allow your children to chase or throw rocks at guests, pets, or wildlife. Vehicle Policy - Guests must keep vehicles in gravel areas. - Only two vehicles per site. - All additional cars, boats, and trailers are to be parked in designated auxiliary parking areas. - Camp vehicle tags must be displayed at all times while a guest at Luray RV Resort on Shenandoah River. Alcohol and Drugs Policy - Virginia drug and alcohol regulations must be obeyed. - All alcohol must be kept in coolies and covered containers. - Public intoxication of guests or visitors is not permitted under any circumstances. Property Rules and Regulations - All golf carts must be parked at quiet time. - Generators are not permitted. - Campers staying in the primitive riverfront are not permitted to have visitors. - No drones, firearms, weapons, fireworks, or metal detectors are allowed on the campground. - Removal from the premises will be immediate with no refund. - Federal law allows public use of the Shenandoah River; however, trespassing on neighboring properties is strictly forbidden. - A fishing license is required to fish on the Shenandoah River. - Use of uninsured or unlicensed motor vehicles at Luray RV Resort on Shenandoah River is not allowed. - This includes but is not limited to golf carts, mini bikes, ATVs, gas scooters, electric scooters, or mopeds. - Exceptions can be made with prior approval in the event of medical reasons. - All fire rings and charcoal grills in use must be attended to at all times. - Open-air fires will not be allowed when the fire risk is high. - All burning materials must be kept inside the container. - Burning trash in your fire ring is strictly prohibited. - Fires need to be put out before checkout. - All fire rings should be cleaned out prior to leaving. - Campers and guests are not allowed to bring their own firewood. - All firewood must be purchased at the check-in station. - Do not pick up wood, cut or laying on the ground to use as firewood. - Do not tie anything to trees, including hammocks. - Feeding of wildlife is prohibited. - Campers must keep perishables in containers and put trash in the trash dumpster. - Please do not disturb the natural environment including damaging trees, shrubs, vegetation, or animal habitat. - No cutting of trees, limbs, or vegetation on the property. - If found in violation of cutting of trees, limbs, or vegetation, a $75.00 fine will be imposed. - Please do not remove downed limbs from trails or hilled areas. - These are to help to maintain land erosion. - This is a wildlife refuge, and all wildlife must be respected and preserved. - Please check with our staff for locations. - Please accompany your children to bathrooms, showers, rivers, and play areas. - Do not move picnic tables or fire rings. - Do not leave trash in your fire rings. - Violation of any rules by campers or guests will result in the entire party’s removal from the property with the forfeit of all site fees. - Luray RV Resort on Shenandoah River is not responsible for any accidents that may occur while staying or visiting the campground. - The employees, contractors, owners, successors, or agents will be held harmless. - No sleeping tent allowed on RV or cottage sites. - When leaving please take all trash to any of the dumpsters located on the property.

Refunds be given in accordance with the Cancellation Policy below: Spot2Nite booking fees are non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy - Please note If your reservation is cancelled 30 days prior to your arrival. - Luray RV Resort will provide a full refund, less a $20.00 cancellation fee per reservation. - If you cancel your reservation within 29 days prior to your arrival. - All deposits paid (equal to your first night’s stay) will be consumed as your cancellation fee, and your reservation will be released. - This cancellation policy may vary for group/extended stay reservations. - Please refer to your agreement for your specific cancellation policy. Cancellation Modification - In general, if you cancel a reservation, the amount refunded to you is determined by the campsite's cancellation policy that applies to your reservation. - Any additional service fee charged to you by the campsite may be refunded pursuant to the cancellation policy presented in the applicable listing. - Both you and each campsite are responsible for any modifications made to your reservation, and you agree to pay any applicable fees related to such reservation modification. - If you are charged a booking fee upon checkout. - The booking fee is fully refundable if you cancel your campsite reservation within 24 hours of booking. - After 24 hours, the booking fee is refundable only if your campsite reservation is also fully refundable at the time of cancellation. - Please note that the booking fee is not partially refundable. - All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. - Please contact Spot2Nite to cancel a reservation via email to [email protected] or call (877)778-2683, Option 1. - Spot2Nite convenience fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.

The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
