Welcome to the park!
To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, please abide by the following rules:
Check-In Procedure - RV Check-in time: 12:00 pm. - Cottage Check-in time: 4:00 pm. - Check-out time: 11:00 am. - This means that the Camper(s) can arrive at the office of Oceans RV Resort at 12:00 pm to check in. - The resort will use every possible resource to ensure that the property is available by the standard check-in time; however, due to possible interruptions, Oceans RV Resort cannot guarantee the exact time of occupancy. - No concessions, rate reductions, or refunds will be made for postponed occupancy due to conflicts that may be out of the Resort’s control. - This means that the Camper(s) must leave the property by 11:00 am. - Check-out times are strictly enforced to have adequate time to have the property ready for the next occupant. - If the resort provides a “Check Out List” it shall be completed prior to leaving the property. - Cottage check-out procedures must be followed. - Failure to complete the list shall result in additional charges. - There are options for early check-ins and late checkouts, provided that the campground/site/cottage is open and available for these times. - Additional fees may apply. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Equipment - Tents, Pop-Up Campers, or any other non-self-contained vehicles are not permitted. - All campers 10 years and older must be approved prior to arrival. Reservation Changes - Rescheduling of dates may be allowed if the Camper(s) agrees on updated rates of reservation depending on stay dates. The reservation change fee is $35.00. - Camper agrees that if there is any difference in the balance due, this will be adjusted accordingly. - If the Camper(s) request a different site/cabin within thirty days of the reservation approval, this change is at the discretion of Oceans RV Resort. - There is no guarantee that the request to reschedule will be approved. - If approved, the Camper(s) paid amount will be applied to the new reservation, and the reservation change fee will be added to the Camper(s) balance due. - If there is any difference in the balance due, this will be adjusted accordingly. Reservation Confirmations - Once a reservation has been made and payment has been received, the Camper(s) will receive a confirmation email. - After receiving the confirmation, it is the Camper(s) responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the reservation. - All errors should be reported to Oceans RV Resort within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving the confirmation email. - Camper(s) shall also read the Rules and Regulations, and it is the Camper(s) responsibility to notify each person on the guest list of these rules. - Campers will be sent an e-registration form and Rules and Regulations for e-signature. - Camper does not have to e-sign documents and can sign in person. - Camper also has the right to withdraw consent to e-signature based on the E-Sign ACT. - The license agreement is effective upon the arrival date and time of check-in. Camper cannot withdraw an e-signature after the license agreement date and time. - It is the Camper’s responsibility to ensure Oceans RV Resort has all information requested on the registration form. - Camper can fill out information online at the time of booking as well as provide Oceans RV Resort front office the information. Rates - Nightly rates and minimum night stays vary on each individual site or cottage listing. - These rates do not include any taxes or additional fees. - Nightly rates are subject to change without notice. - Once the Camper(s) receive the reservation confirmation email, the rate will not change, unless there are reservation change requests made by the Camper(s). Specials, Promotions, and Discounts - Oceans RV Resort may offer different types of promotions and savings at different times of the year. - These are based on occupancy and seasonality and may be adjusted at the last minute. - Any specials must be asked for and applied at the time of booking. - Discounts cannot be applied after a Camper(s) has completed a booking reservation. - Cottages may be exempt from specials. - Long-term stays are excluded from all discounts, specials, and promotions. Extensions of Reservation - Camper(s) must contact the office as soon as possible to extend stays. - The current market rate will apply to any additional nights requested or “Hold Over” by Camper(s). - The resort only guarantees a rate for a booked, confirmed, and paid reservation. Occupancy of Property - Reservations must be made by responsible persons over the age of twenty-one (21). - The reservation holders must be in attendance during the reservation. - The Camper(s) whose name is on the reservation will be responsible for the entire party and the property that has been rented by Camper(s). - Cottages and RV sites are only advertised to hold a maximum number of 6 people, this includes adults and children. - Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. - Any Camper(s) in violation of this policy shall leave the property and all monies shall be forfeited. - 2 Adults and 2 Children are included in the base price of all sites and cottages. - If the reservation has a greater occupancy than 4 additional charges are, adults – $12 per day per adult, children– $8 per day per child, visitors day pass (dawn to dusk) – $12 per visitor. - All visitors must be registered with the front office. - There are no overnight visitors. Pets - Pets are welcome. - Pets must always be with their owners. - The camper is responsible for pet registration and proof of vaccination records at the time of check-in. - Pet fees do apply. - Pet fees are as follows: RV Sites – $5.00 nightly fee per pet, Cottages– $10.00 nightly fee per pet. - Max 2 (Two) pets per cottage, unless the on-site manager approves. - Pets must be leashed. - Pets may not be tied or tethered outside alone. - Owners must clean up after their pets and dispose of waste in designated stations. - Failure to clean up pet waste may result in a $150 fee. Site Availability & Reservation Changes - If a site becomes unavailable prior to occupancy outside of Oceans RV Resort’s control, Resort shall have the right to move Camper(s) to a different site that is comparable to the original reservation. - If no comparable site is available, Resort can offer to reschedule for another date. - If there is no alternate availability, and the reservation must be canceled, then the Resort will issue a full refund to Camper(s) without penalty. - All refunds will only be up to the amount paid. Cottages - The camper is responsible for notifying Oceans RV Resort if anything in the unit is not in working order, is damaged, is missing, or is unclean atthe time of check-in. - Cottages are subject to a security deposit hold at the time of check-in. - Contact Oceans RV Resort for more information. - This security deposit hold will be on your registration form and is an additional charge on your credit card for any damages incurred. Campsite and Total Fee - Your campsite will be designated at check-in. - All fees are due according to Resort policy. Residence - The Resort may not be used as a permanent residence. - No mail may be sent to the Resort. Golf Carts - Proof of liability insurance is required to bring a golf cart into the Resort. - All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and be covered under the submitted insurance. - The Resort may restrict or revoke any guest's right to operate or store a golf cart on the property. - Golf carts operated after dark must have working headlights. Speed Limit - Speed limit for golf carts is 5 mph. Transfer or Assignment - No Transfer or Assignment. - This agreement may not be transferred or assigned to another party. Attorneys' Fees - If the Resort must pursue legal action to enforce this agreement, the guest will be liable for any reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs incurred. Inherent Risks of Camping - Under North Carolina law, camping participants assume the risk of personal injury, death, or property damage resulting from the inherent risks of camping. - Guests must act within their own ability, heed warnings, and avoid reckless behavior. - The Resort is not liable for injuries or damages resulting from these inherent risks. - Guests agree not to pursue claims for such incidents. Notice - The Resort is privately owned. - By using the Resort, guests agree to. - Release the Resort, its officers, and employees from liability for an injury or damage. - Indemnify the Resort against claims arising from injury or property loss/damage caused by themselves, their family, or their guests. Guidelines for Safe and Enjoyable Stay - To help ensure the safety and enjoyment of the resort and fellow guests during your stay, please keep in mind the following rules and regulations. Children Policy - No unsupervised children under the age of 18 in the pool, fitness center, and playground areas. - No unsupervised children under 15 riding bicycles throughout the campground. Recreational Equipment Restrictions - No bicycles, skateboards, or roller-skates in walkways or concrete areas surrounding the clubhouse. Pool - No food permitted within the pool. - Food is only allowed in the seating areas within the gates of the pool and under the breezeway. - Guests are responsible for clean-up and disposal of food. - No glass permitted anywhere in the clubhouse, pool area, or walkway areas. - Use of the pool and other resort amenities is only for registered guests listed on the initial reservation unless a visitor day pass has been purchased. - The resort is not open to the public. Firewood - No burning of trash or household garbage in fire pits. - Firewood only. (No pallets, 2x4s, or any other wood construction materials permitted). - Campfires must be fully extinguished before leaving your site or retiring for the evening. Fireworks - No fireworks, sparklers, bottle rockets, or other explosive devices permitted on the property. Trash Policy - Trash must be disposed of immediately in the provided dumpsters. - Trash may not be left outside of campers overnight or for long periods. Golf Cart, Cars, Motorcycle, and Electric Bikes - Golf carts, cars, motorcycles, and electric bikes must follow the posted speed limit within the resort. - Personal golf carts are permitted. - Guests must provide proof of liability insurance and pay a one-time $20 fee before or upon check-in. - Anyone operating a golf cart or electric bike must be at least 16 years old. - Operators under 16 must have a parent or legal guardian present at all times. Skirting or Decking - No skirting or decking permitted. Ponds - Entry into retention ponds is prohibited. - No watercraft allowed in the water. - Please respect local wildlife. Bathhouse - Bathhouse doors must be closed after every use. Guests - Unauthorized guests are not permitted in employee areas. Environmental and Property Care - Nothing may be hung on trees or resort fencing (e.g., lights, clotheslines, décor). Parking Policy - Guests and visitors who park campers, RVs, trailers, or personal vehicles on-site do so at their own risk. - Oceans RV Resort is not responsible for any loss, theft, damage, or injury that may occur to vehicles, RVs, or their contents while parked on the property. - No parking on the grass at any time. - Overflow parking is for operational vehicles only. - Trailers must be parked within the gravel space of the assigned site. - Trailers that do not fit must be moved to a designated storage space. - Trailer storage is available at $25 per day. - Vehicles or trailers not following parking guidelines may be towed at the owner's expense. - By parking on-site, you accept the park at your own risk policy, including releasing liability for third-party vendor incidents. Gate Access Code Policy - Do not attempt to bypass the gate or force entry if your access code doesn’t work. - Guests are responsible for any damage caused by improper access attempts. - If your code is not working. - Do not attempt to drive around the gate. - Pull safely to the side and either visit the front desk or call for assistance. - The gate keypad is touchscreen. Enter your code carefully. Photo Release Policy - By entering or staying at Oceans RV Resort, guests agree to the following. - Oceans RV Resort staff or authorized personnel may take photos or videos on the property for marketing, social media, or promotional purposes. - By being present, you grant permission to use your image, likeness, and/or voice without compensation. - This applies to all guests, including minors. - Parents or guardians consent to this on behalf of their children by choosing to stay at the resort. - If you do not wish to be photographed, notify the front desk at check-in. Resort Bar Policy (Located in Clubhouse) - Must be 21 or older to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages in the clubhouse or pool areas. - Outside liquor is not allowed in the clubhouse or pool areas. Mail & Package Policy - Guests may not receive paper/envelope mail. - All such mail will be returned to the sender. - Packages may be received, but guests are responsible for using the correct delivery address. - Tracking and picking up packages promptly. - Oceans RV Resort is not responsible for undelivered/misdelivered packages, lost, stolen, or damaged packages, returning items to the sender or carrier. Visitor Policy - All visitors must purchase a day pass and provide ID. - Day Pass Rates, Adults (over 16): $12, Children (6–16): $8, Children under 6: free. - Passes are valid from 9:00 am to sunset. - No overnight visitors allowed. - Visitor passes are available based on occupancy. - They must be purchased in the office, and visitors must sign in during business hours. - Oceans RV Resort reserves the right to deny entry to any unregistered visitor. Important Notice to Guests - All rules and policies are subject to change at any time at management’s discretion. - By staying or visiting, you agree to comply with all current and future rules as communicated by staff or posted publicly.

Campground Cancellation Policy - If Camper cancels a reservation greater than 30 days before arrival, Camper will be refunded the deposit minus a $35 cancellation fee. - If Camper cancels the reservation less than 30 days before arrival, Camper will forfeit their 1-night deposit. - This does not apply to long-term stays. - Long-term stays that are canceled will forfeit the entire deposit. - Cancellations can be completed online, by phone, by email, and in person. - All cancellations receive a cancellation confirmation number. - It is the Camper’s responsibility to ensure they have received the cancellation confirmation number for verification. Refund Policy - All eligible refunds will be issued to the credit card on file. - There are no cash or check refunds available. Refunds and/or rate adjustments are not made for any inconvenience. - There are no refunds or reductions made due to the following: failure of appliances, failure of equipment, early departures, delayed arrivals, inclement weather, public utility failure/interruption, or Acts of God. - All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. - Please contact Spot2Nite to cancel a reservation via email to [email protected] or call (877)778-2683, Option 1. - Spot2Nite convenience fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.

How to read Good Sam Ratings
The three-number rating that accompanies each campground listing in the directory gives readers an at-a-glance assessment of a campground's amenities, cleanliness and environment. All three ratings categories are measured on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Less than 1 percent of parks or campgrounds receive the coveted 10 | 10 | 10 rating, which indicates superior facilities that are well maintained, clean, well-appointed restrooms and a highly appealing appearance. Campgrounds are inspected annually by dedicated RVers like you.
Completeness of facilities
The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
Cleanliness of restrooms and showers
The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star ( ), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
Visual appeal and environmental quality
This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
