A few weeks ago, I traveled from Dallas, TX to Ft. Myers, Florida for some truly well-deserved time in the sun, and I could not have chosen a better place to stay than Bermuda Lakes RV Resort. A few weeks ago, I traveled from Dallas, TX to Ft. Myers, Florida for some truly well-deserved time in the sun, and I could not have chosen a better place to stay than Bermuda Lakes RV Resort. This beautifully designed, newly developed RV park is centered around a scenic lake and offers everything you could want for a relaxing and upscale RV experience.
The amenities are outstanding: brand-new pickleball courts, nearby golf courses, a gorgeous pool with a bar, an excellent on-site restaurant, and immaculately manicured grounds throughout the resort. Every detail feels thoughtfully planned and impeccably maintained.
What truly sets Bermuda Lakes apart from every other RV park I’ve stayed at, however, is the people. Nancy and especially Shawnica—were absolutely wonderful!! They didn’t just meet our needs; they consistently went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. Their friendliness, professionalism, and genuine care were evident every day. At one point, they even delivered Amazon packages directly to our site when things were less busy—an unexpected but incredibly thoughtful touch. This is a family-operated resort with close ties to North Trails RV Center, which is also an outstanding resource if you need RV service during your stay.
I give Bermuda Lakes RV Resort my highest recommendation. The individual sites are spacious and thoughtfully laid out, featuring large, flat concrete pads, picnic areas, and plenty of green space. Trees and shrubs provide privacy between sites, and there are walking paths throughout the park that make it peaceful and enjoyable to explore. Despite being conveniently located just off I-75, north of Ft. Myers, the resort is exceptionally quiet and set in a truly beautiful location.
Simply put, this is an amazing RV resort, and I honestly can’t imagine how the experience could have been any better. Be sure to book ahead, as the park hosts large rallies and conferences—it’s an ideal venue for family reunions or gatherings of RV friends.
Whether you’re traveling to Florida for the winter or just stopping in for a night or two, do yourself a favor and check out Bermuda Lakes RV Resort. I promise—you will not be disappointed!
