We stayed 2 nights while traveling through the area. The park is a short drive from I-5 (Exit 233; US-20/Santiam Highway) along commercial 2 & 4 lane city streets. It is located in town close to services. The interior roads are concrete. They are narrow making passing opposing traffic tight & tight turns making maneuvering larger RV’s a little challenging. There is a mixture of back-ins & pull throughs sites that are in two areas based upon electrical service (50 or 30 AMP). A few of P/T sites... Read More

A few of P/T sites were long enough to say connected to a toad. The RV sites are about the width of 2 travel lanes so there was sufficient room to open slides. The parking pads are concrete. There appears a lot of long-term residents based upon the site appearances. This park seems to understand the simple concept of the importance of a flat, level site as the sites were generally level and flat. They have full hook ups – water, electricity, & sewer. The utility connections were towards the rear of the sites. The sewer connection was at ground level so establishing a downhill flow was dependent upon discharge point. Sites have no outside amenities (table, BBQ grill or fire pits). There is an extensive tree canopy so satellite reception will depend upon site assignment & dish configuration. Was able to receive DISH programming with a portable dish sitting slightly off the ground. The park brochure had a list of 47 channels including the 4 major networks. There was no mention of broadcast channels. Was able to get 19 OTA channels using a roof mounted Winegard Air 360+ antenna. However, only 10 channels including 1 major network had a strong enough signal to receive a picture. The park provided password protected WiFi was sufficient for checking email & ordering a pizza. Didn’t try the NET10 phone so don’t know about cell phone reception. No designated fenced pet area but a couple of designated grass covered pet areas. There were bag dispensers and collection stations for waste at the designated pet areas. There was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park’s roads. We would probably stay here again if the need arose to stay in the area. TIP: Domino’s delivered but the pizza was cold. Site fees are based upon electrical service. Would recommend reservations as the park was close to full. Wouldn’t use the online reservation system as it is new and problems are still being worked out. The check in time is 1 PM. Office hours show it is closed for lunch from 1 to 2 PM but we arrived shortly after 1 PM to find the office open.

BLUE OX: We are snow birds and stop here often on our way to or from the Southland. Although it seems to be about 75% live aboards, the open spots they rent to the travelling public are nice and clean. They keep the permanent rentals presentable sites probably due to strict rules they have for long term renters, which is good. Great pet walking in the adjacent soccer field and open areas. The park is clean with paved sites and good hookups. It's about a mile frojm I-5 so little to no freeway... Read More

We spent 3 nights at this park while visiting family in Oregon. The staff was super friendly and offered to move a picnic table closer to our site. The site had ample room for visiting family to park and a small porch light. The restrooms/showers were clean and well kept. Each site had a concrete pad, so we didn't worry about being level. We had plenty of room for our slide-out and awning. The laundry room was clean and reasonably priced. I think I averaged $2 per load to wash and dry. The only... Read More

The only downside was that I didn't see any signs posted about how late I could put in a load and had to leave clothing in the dryers overnight until the laundry facility opened again the next morning. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom situation is a little irritating. We were told that there's only one bathroom that needs a code the others do not. Had to use restroom at about 11pm went and it was locked.(nobody said nothing about the restrooms and showers closing) only rec room and pool closed at 9pm....ran over to the one with the code,it says code has changed please come to office to get new code. Needless to say the code hadn't changed that sign was old and they never took it down.and we asked about the restroom... Read More

Stayed one night on our trip north from California. Park is clean and well maintained, close to I5 but no traffic noise. Good cable TV but VERY SLOW WiFi, just about unusable. On a cold wet evening after a long drive it was very frustrating not to be able to check my emails. Would stay again if the WiFi was better.

We stayed here for 4 days and it was a great experience, the staff was very friendly and the facility was very clean. The only small issue we had was that the initial site we had was covered with pine sap and we feared it dripping all over our RV. The staff was very accommodating and moved us to a different site. We were very satisfied with this facility and would gladly stay here again on our next trip.

Stayed near the end of September. The staff greeted us with a great smile and were very friendly along with being helpful. Grounds were well kept and clean. Bathrooms and showers were clean but a little dated. The campground had easy access to Interstate 5. Sites were paved with plenty of room to maneuver through the park. Liked that the sites had a decent buffer between sites so that you do not feel like you are in a parking lot.
